It was a really far walk from Tarumi Station on the JR Kobe Line to the Mitsui Outlet, but that's coming from someone who had expected one foot out the station and the other foot in the mall, not to mention that the journey was made worse by the blazing sun. Thank God for the beautiful scenery of the fishing port, and a cold drink vending machine we came across on the way, which somehow lifted our spirits.
The oh-so-blue sea! Somehow it seemed all the more appealing in the sweltering heat.
An obligatory photo of our shadow.
I can finally see the outlet mall, but it's still so far away!
I'm sorry to say this but there are no pictures of the actual mall itself since we were busy shopping. In all seriousness though, the best thing about coming to this mall is the beautiful views of the peninsula which surrounds it.
The mall carries more mid-range brands, a lot of which are sports brands, and the boy ended up buying loads of Adidas shoes. I got myself some Triumph!
We had our lunch at one of the restaurants in the mall. I found the sets a little weird. A bowl of udon and a bowl of rice or sushi, and only two small pieces of food to go along. Less carbohydrates and more protein please :P
