Here's what you need, besides the chicken chunks.
The process that led to the above bowl of delicious luo mi fan on the very first attempt ever:
1) Fry garlic and dried shrimp till fragrant.
2) Add in sliced Chinese sausages and rehydrated dried mushrooms and fry for two minutes.
3) Add in marinated chicken pieces (i used two chicken thighs marinated for 2 hours in 6 tbsps dark soya sauce, 3 tbsps light soya sauce, 1 tbsp sesame oil and white pepper to taste) and cook till 50% done, then add in the glutinous rice (soaked overnight). Stir well to coat the rice in the sauce.
4) Transfer the ingredients to the rice cooker, fill with water as per normal and hit the 'sticky rice' button.
