Marble Slab Creamery

We had walked past the Marble Slab Creamery store outside *Scape a couple of times, but seeing few or no customers each time, never thought of going in at all. However, I recently received a $20 voucher for the outlet at Central and, looking for a place to have tea before our movie, decided to head there. It's a very small store, the very same place where the poorly managed Gobi once was. Not the best of places to dine in, with around 4 tables in total, both inside and out.

I had matcha ice cream with toppings of Butterfingers, Kit Kat and gummy bears. The matcha flavour was intense, the toppings reminded me of Yoguru, and what I liked best about it were the chewy gummy bears.

My selection of toppings being mashed into the matcha ice cream.

Time to find happiness within the rather fast melting creation.

The boy had the Caramel Peanut Butter Crisp, which is even faster melting sweet cream ice cream with toppings of Butterfingers, chocolate chips and caramel.

We both ordered the Big Dipper, which is a cup size of about 3 to 3.5 inches in diameter. At $10 a cup, it can be considered pricey, but Ben and Jerry's is equally expensive and so is Haagen Daz.
